Famitsu report on effect of price cuts across platform in Japan

Famitsu reported the impact of price cut for current generation of console and systems in Japan. PS3 has the highest increase rate, but this is just rate. While Nintendo has the lowest, most probably because Wii has sold a lot in Japan, so its market penetration is better than PS3.

1. PS3 price cut on Sept 3, 2009, from 39980 to 29980 yen - sales increase by 707%
2. PSP price cut on Oct 1, 2009, from 19800 to 16800 yen - sales increase by 126%
3. Xbox 360 price cut on Sep 10, 2009, from 39800 to 29800 yen - sales increase by 70%
4. Wii price cut on Oct 1, 2009, from 25000 to 20000 yen - sales increase by 29%
