David Kim profile: A Starcraft 2 balancer

You have seen the Starcraft 2 battle reports. All have been won by David Kim. So who is exactly this guy?
David Kim is a Blizzard's employee. His korean name is Kim Tae Hyun. He was born in Korea and went to college in Vancouver, majoring in computer science. He was going to work for programming for "Company of Heroes" and "Warhammer 4000" but later became a balance designer for Relic.

He is now working with Blizzard as a balance designer for Starcraft 2. Means that his job is to make sure what units is appropriate to which races and situations. Maybe some balance tweaking to even out units between those three races. Designing terrain and counter units between races also part of his job.
David Kim is a competitive Starcraft player, and his favorites TV show was.. Starcraft. Figures.
To those people who just raised their eyebrow, yes, Korea has its own TV network for Starcraft where viewers can watch battle from past tournaments and everything about Starcraft. To Koreans, Starcraft is like chess that everybody just play it casually or hardcore. Some companies even sponsor a Starcraft team to compete in the tournaments.
Hell, they even provide Starcraft tutorial by pro gamers should you want one.

David Kim switched to Warcraft 3 when it came out, but Starcraft remains his favourite RTS.
He said that currently he is the no 1 Starcraft 2 ladder, but admits that he might be beaten by other Koreans when the game came out. Judging from the way he plays and will still get ass whooped by other Koreans, it is unbelievable to imagine the level of competition in Korea.
