SEGA explained Alpha Protocol delay

Today SEGA explained why espionage RPG game gets delay until next summer from scheduled Oct 6 release date. That's almost half a year delay.
Apparently it is to let developer Obsidian more time to make the game an AAA title.
Obsidian was more than happy that SEGA made this decision, saying:

We're very happy that Sega has made the decision to hold back the shipment of the game in order to give it the best chance at becoming the publishing success that we at Obsidian and our partners at Sega are striving for.

Personally I think this is a good news. I have high hopes for Alpha Protocol, and I certainly don't want to play rushed unpolished game. First impression last. Beside this period is already crowded with AAA title games.
