Uncharted 2: Among Thieves review

Title: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Developer: Naughty Dog
Publisher: Sony

So I was just finished playing Uncharted 2: Among Thieves single player and tested some of its multiplayer from day 1. It does live the expectation. Every aspect of the game is awesome.
Firstly single player mode. The story itself is pretty light, but enough to get your attention and interest. The voice actors/ actresses did a very good job, it matches the situation where the characters are in. The dialogue is funny sometimes, Nathan joked a lot and you can quickly feel the characters.
The camera angle, actions are very well executed, I love the scene when Nathan got chased by the tanks, and the moving train. Its a very rare experiences.

The multiplayer mode consisted of Coop and deathmatch. Both are addictive, the coop lets you and other two friends to do a survival, gold rush, or scenario mode. Survival is just like Gear of Wars horde mode. Gold rush need you to steal a treasure and get to certain drop point while trying to pass a horde of enemy. Scenario mode is when you progress like in single player but with other friends.
For deathmatch, it is simple but not hollow. It probably won't match COD in terms of deep. With little choice of weapons, makes the game feels like grab whatever guns you had and start to kill. You can equip perks to enchance your combat situation.
The only drawback is the network. Sometimes during deathmatch, I freezed for about 5 seconds, and frustratingly, you can be killed. There are a lot of times that I already got behind the enemy, but only to shoot 2 bullets then freezed. The enemy turned his back and began shot me until dead.
It very frustrating and makes the game unplayable. I think in this area, Naughty Dog has to learn more from Infinity Ward how to handle multiplayer.
But to sum up, Uncharted 2 is like a three star restaurant meal with dessert. It keeps your stomach full, you get to taste everything and it tastes awesome!!

Score: 9.5/10
