Here are some updates for eagerly anticipated Gran Turismo 5 based on interview with series creator Kazunori Yamauchi.
- There will be NASCAR & WRC races and not just the cars.
- Damage system will not just for your eyes only, it will also affect the car's handling.
- Release is 'not too far away'. Will be after GT PSP, and simultaneous worldwide release. Possible within 2009.
- Over 1000 cars and 80 tracks.
- Confirmed at 1080p and 60 fps.
